I believe a smooth transition from home to college is vital! I’m heading into my senior year and still love to read advice and tips on making the transition back to school easier, even though I have already been through it all before. Today, I’m sharing a dorm room checklist with you all.

For those of you heading into the dorms (or an apartment), figuring out what to pack can be pretty overwhelming. You never know what you may need or what you should bring, so I made this list for you! Of course, you don’t need everything on this list. Everyone has different dorm rooms and everyone has a different situation.

If you’re going to school in Florida, I don’t think you’ll be needing a winter jacket like I need up at Michigan State. Find what items you will need from this list and use this list as a checklist to know what you already have and what you still need to pick up.
