Hiking is a nature filled exploration. It’s a favorite past time for just about any thrill seeking human. There’s something about the wide open wilderness that sparks, adventure.

The Descent is a movie centered around this presumingly innocent idea but it wouldn’t be a horror flick without a few unexpected wrong turns.

Six girlfriends go spelunking in a remote part of the Appalachians, get trapped, and subsequently have their will tested by mutant cave people. As the friends realize they are now prey, they are forced to rely on primal instinct.

Do they make it out alive?
