Core 4: 4 “Drinkable” Beauty Supplements

By The Body Department May 17, 2018

Let’s talk beauty! This week’s Core 4 feature is all about beauty supplements. Lately there’s been so many water-dissolvable beauty supplements and we’re all about hydration on the daily. Why not “drink in” some beauty?! Who still drinks plain water anyway? We put together a list of some we’re loving at the moment and what we’re curious to try!

Sakara Life Beauty Water

If you like the taste of rose water this is just for you! Apparently this supplement electrolytes boost properties to make your water even more hydrating to the body. And with 72 trace minerals in this baby, we’ll have this in our drank on the daily!

Moon Juice Beauty Dust

This stress relieving supplement also boosts a range of powerful, broad spectrum antioxidants that helps protect cells from free radical damage. Helps the body to preserve collagen protein which helps to enhance elasticity of the skin.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Skin Food

We haven’t tried this supplement yet, it’s hard to ignore when it’s at the top of every beauty skincare list. Though it is on the pricey side, it’s chock-full of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamin A and purslane! Purslane works to activate telomerase, which is the “fountain of youth enzyme”. Not to mention, it’s a staple in Kim K’s extensive skin care regimen… just sayin’.

The Beauty Chef GLOW Inner Beauty Powder

One of the highlights of this powder is that it contains a meal’s worth of nutrition in one single serving. You can mix it in a smoothie or as a full meal replacement. We like using a tiny dose in a cup of coffee for a serious boost of energy in the mornings.

Wellness Gemstone Water Bottle by VitaJuwel

So this item isn’t a supplement but who wouldn’t be interested in crystal-boosted water? The bottle has a compartment on the bottom to house calming crystals like rose quartz, amethyst and citrine. Water is affected by vibrations. Crystals are subtly vibrating at all times, and the wavelength at which they vibrate determines their healing properties. So queue up the high vibrational water!
